Dubai Police have posted a traffic alert early on Monday notifying motorists of an accident on Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed road in the direction heading to Abu Dhabi.
The incident took place during the morning hours of Monday, when many residents are on their way to work after their weekend.
Drivers were asked to be extra cautious.
